• About the project

Every Council is required to prepare a Domestic Animal Management Plan, renewed every four years.

Our Ranger Services team has been dealing with the same animal management issues year on year. We are reviewing our current plan to develop a new plan for 2026-29.

With a growing population and an increasing number of visitors the plan is an opportunity to call on all pet owners to ‘take the lead’ and be more responsible.
