The 2024 September Council meeting approved advertising for another 20 year lease with Ampitel (Telstra) for a telecommunications tower in Ellimatta Reserve, Anglesea.

The old lease has now expired and Ampitel would like to continue the existing arrangement under a new lease.

The new proposed lease allows for a term of five years with three further terms of years each, being twenty years in total. The proposed lease will support the continued telecommunications services provided by Telstra and Vodafone in the area.

Submissions on the proposed lease are invited and can be addressed to ‘Coordinator Legal and Property’ and submitted below or post to our office.in writing PO Box 350 Torquay 3228.

Submissions must be received by 5pm on Thursday 28 November 2024.

A person has a right to make a submission on the proposed lease. A submission may include a request to appear in person, at a meeting convened to hear submissions about the proposed lease (if deemed required).
