This Municipal Flood and Storm Sub-Plan (MFSSP) outlines how agencies prepare for, respond to, and recover from flood and storm emergencies within the municipality.
The plan has been developed by the Surf Coast Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee.
This committee is a multi-agency group that shapes how the Surf Coast community prepares for, responds to and recovers from emergencies.
It is the peak emergency management planning body for the Surf Coast.
While the plan is primarily an operational document for emergency management agencies, community feedback is welcomed, particularly in relation to local knowledge, community impacts, and clarity of information.
Some elements are guided by state-level requirements and may not be subject to change.
Your feedback will be considered in the finalisation of the plan.
