1. Eligibility:
    • The survey is open to all residential ratepayers and full/part-time residents within Surf Coast Shire.
    • Participants must provide a residential address where they reside within Surf Coast Shire.
    • Council staff members and immediate family can participate in the survey but are not eligible to win a prize.
  2. Entry:
    • To enter the survey, participants must complete an online quiz at www.surfcoast.vic.gov.au/SmallActsBigImpact and answer EVERY question.
    • After answering all questions, participants will be able to submit their details to enter the draw.
  3. Survey Period:
    • The survey opens on 1 May 2025 at 4:00 PM and will run for three weeks.
    • The survey closes at 11pm on 25 May 2025.
  4. Prize:
    • Ten (10) winners will each receive a $100 gift card.
    • The winners will be drawn on 26 May 2025 at 4:00 PM.
    • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation or service from Council.
  5. Winner Selection and Notification:
    • Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
    • Winners will be notified via the contact details provided during entry.
    • If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days, a new winner will be drawn.
  6. Prize Collection:
    • Prizes can be posted to the winners at the Surf Coast Shire address included in the survey or collected in person from Council facilities in Torquay, Lorne or Winchelsea.
    • Winners collecting the prize in person from Council facilities must present proof of identity eg drivers license, utility bill etc.
  7. General Conditions:
    • By participating in the survey, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
    • Council reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
    • Council's decision is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners or the awarding of the prizes.
